PRP has growth factors from platelet proteins, transforming growth factor Beta, platelet derived growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, fibroblast growth factor, and epithelial growth factor. These growth factors promote wound healing, repair and angiogenesis. In the skin there is an increase in fibroblasts and collagen. When injected intradermally or sub-dermally can improve skin texture, color and decrease wrinkles.
PRP is derived from the patients own blood,there is virtually no risk of allergic reaction or rejection.
