George S. Miguel, D.O., F.A.C.S.
Dr. George Miguel is a fellow trained through the American Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, he is also board-certified in Ear, Nose, Throat/Head and Neck Surgery.
His focus is to provide compassionate patient care with expert, comprehensive state-of-the-art plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face. He is an author of multiple medical articles on topics including rhinoplasty, facelifts, facial reconstruction and more. He has been active internationally, participating in medical mission work in Belize for treatment of facial reconstruction, skin cancer and cleft lip and palate deformities in October 2014 and February 2015. He anticipates making this medical mission work an annual trip to provide care to the underserved.
Dr. George Miguel was born and raised in Chicago. He underwent 5 years of General Surgical, Ear, Nose and Throat/Head and Neck training at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, a Michigan State University affiliated system where he was Chief Resident for 2 years. After graduating, Dr. Miguel then went on to complete a rigorous fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery at Cincinnati, Ohio under the tutelage of Devinder Mangat, MD, a world authority in the field of Facial Plastic Surgery through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).
