I can’t believe I’ve been in practice for 30 years! Looking back at my training and practice have been extremely gratifying and fulfilling. Just to give you a little background I went to Wayne State University medical school and after finishing general surgery did plastic and reconstructive surgery residency with my father Andrew, E Stefani, M.D. and Ian T Jackson, M.D., who specialized in cranial facial. This is where I developed an understanding of facial plastic surgery. And then went on to arguably the busiest facial aesthetic plastic surgery fellowship in the United States at the time. Here training with Dr. Daniel C Baker and Sherill J Aston in Manhattan my understanding of facial aesthetic surgery was mastered. At the time I was assisting or doing my own facelifts, eyelids, breast and bodywork. All types of facelifts were being performed at that time. This included SMAS lifts, deep plane, and skin only lifts. I now use a combination of many of these procedures and use which facelift is specific for each individual. So keep this in mind when looking for a facial aesthetic surgeon that knowledge and training our key to excellent results. I want to think all my patients over the years further support!
